Connexus contains 30% carrier called RPM™

RPM = Reverse phase medium

   At warmer temperatures the graft will become more viscous

   Allows DBM to be well contained at graft site

   Permits mixing of multiple grafting materials

Demonstrated bone formation in a load-bearing animal model

   Evaluated in skeletally mature sheep model

   Cylindrical 5mm transcortical defects were created in the tibial diaphysis in 4 animals

      and  grafted with Accell Connexus.

   The animals healed for 4 or 8 weeks prior to histological analysis.

   Sections were stained for quantative assessment of bone regeneration and incorporation.
